It all began with an empty kitchen… and a new stove.

Back in 2018, Mayilla had just moved into her very first apartment – without a stove. She had just ordered one, and Ronny was the one who came to deliver and install it.

As he was finishing up, his colleague suddenly asked, “Can you braid hair?” She said yes – and that same evening, she ended up braiding Ronny’s hair… for €25.

While she braided, we started talking – and something just clicked.

That unexpected moment turned into eight years of love, laughter, and life together.

Now, almost exactly eight years later, on April 25th, 2026, we’re getting married – just one day before the anniversary of the day we met.
