From Stove Delivery to Soulmates

It all began with an empty kitchen… and a new stove. Back in 2018, Mayilla had just moved into her very first apartment – without a stove. She had just ordered one, and Ronny was the one who came to deliver and install it. As he was finishing up, his colleague suddenly asked, “Can you braid hair?” She said yes – and that same evening, she ended up braiding Ronny’s hair… for €25.While she braided, we started talking – and something just clicked.That unexpected moment turned into eight years of love, laughter, and life together. Now, almost exactly eight years later, on April 25th, 2026, we’re getting married – just one day before the anniversary of the day we met. We can’t wait to celebrate this full-circle moment with you.

Directions to LeeuwenberghPublic Transport (Preferred Option) (15 minutes)From Utrecht Central Station, walk to the city bus terminal. There, take City Bus 2 in the direction of CS – Museumkwartier VV. This bus departs approximately every 15 minutes.Get off at the Universiteitsmuseum Utrecht stop. From there, it’s about a 5-minute walk to Leeuwenbergh. Walk in the direction of the Dom Tower and turn right onto Zuilenstraat. Follow this street all the way down. When you reach Nieuwegracht, cross the canal and continue into Schalwijkstraat. At the end of this street, you will see Leeuwenbergh on your right.The entrance is at Servaasbolwerk 1a. To get on this route, exit Hoog Catharijne via the Godebaldkwartier exit (near the Albert Heijn supermarket). Once outside, turn left and cross the Catharijnesingel. Then walk in the direction of the Dom Tower.After passing the Dom Tower, turn right onto Lange Nieuwstraat. After about 200 meters, you will see the Catherijneconvent Museum on your left — just past that, turn left into Zuilenstraat. Follow this street to the end. When you reach Nieuwegracht, cross the canal and continue into Schalwijkstraat. At the end of this street, you will see Leeuwenbergh on your right.The entrance is at Servaasbolwerk 1a.
